I started out with travel as a solo traveler, but it wasn’t on purpose. Several times I would attempt to go on a trip with friends, but we could never get our schedules to match up. Maybe it was fate. So, I went alone. After traveling to one place, the anxiety barrier broke down a little and I kept going one by one.

I am currently based in Los Angeles, CA where I am a Registered Nurse full-time. My passion is everything travel: the airport experience, having the best flight possible, breezing through customs, best stays, delicious eats, and the best things to do.

My goal is to inspire others to step outside their comfort zone and see what’s around them, near or far. The greatest advice I live by and tell others to follow when they travel is: Go with no expectations.

Fun facts:

✨ I love long drives with good music. An open sunroof is essential. It’s a place of solace for me. Hence my name, Robin on the Road.

✨ What prompted me to begin traveling the world was watching the movie, “The Secret Life of Walter Mitty.” (2013 version). I started with a skydive. Then a roadtrip to NYC. Then a flight to China.

✨ My most prized possession is a guitar pick given to me by Carlos Santana. He’s my favorite artist and I go annually to see him play. I make sure to be front row center. My first time seeing him play, he took off his guitar and crouched low toward me. He handed me his guitar pick and told me to strum his guitar. After that, he let me keep the pick. My guitar hero. 🎸
